"To provide an alternative for banned plastic carry bags, a provision of Rs 5 lakh should be made in the corporators’ funds for the distribution of cloth bags," she had said in her proposal."The proposal is good. In a bid to promote the use of alternatives for banned plastic carry bags, corporators had demanded that they should be allowed to distribute cloth bags through their civic funds.
